缺陷蛋糕

I've been to the book store.
As I picked up the book from the shelf,
I saw lots of error come up, even from the very start on the cover
( the unexpected dot following the url ).

I didn't have the final check of the cover before publishing.
They just dropped me an e-mail telling me
they will take good care of every thing.

The preface is not the most current version,
causing many names to be thanked missed in the list.

And the most serious mistake is mixing up of the chapter illustration
of "love in time" and "the broken dog face"!
not to memtion other errors we told them to fix......

There is no much joy inside me,
even there is any, it was soon replaced by the anger.

I know how you feel Huanabeh; most things are less than perfect the first time around.
if the book sells well enough, the errors can be corrected on the 2nd edition.
even the text book we use for our university course have many errors in them.

I will ask my family to bring a copy for me, I can hardly wait to read it!!

errors aside, it's cause for celebration!!

Thank you. Your words are so comforting.

I wrote a short paragraph describing all contribution in this book
is based on public welfare & non-profit motive.

As I opened the book, I just can't find it which is supposed to appear in the first inner page.This made me very upset.

Also the last page doesn't end in a way I wanted.
If you look at the last page, you'll find the words on it very weird.
As the last page, the words on it are meant to be encouraging and hopeful.

The publishment of our book is of course something cheeerful.
I just feel sorry for our contributors who worked so hard.

I'm deeply touched.
This the first time I heard this kind of words
ever since this web site was built.

I think the God was not very fair when he created the humans.
Obviosly he gave more to Adam than to Eve when he allotted
them the brain cells.

Haven't you read their posts in the back yard?
I think they have realized fooling around
with make-up is more interesting than reading.
Also making up won't kill any of their brain cells,
this will make them live longer for more make-up.

That's why they form the main force of this web site and make it full of fun.
Although we have some boys who work hard like Z,
most of them are just decoration.

你有完沒完？我懷胎十月生完小孩的時候也沒像你這樣嫌東嫌西。

算了啦，人家看不出來的錯誤你就不要一直提醒人家了。
像大家都說我兒子超可愛，也沒人知道其實他以後可能會禿頭。

本來要把書推薦給我們同事，可是一來怕「施子」形象曝光，
二來要跟人家推薦一本錯誤百出的出版品實在是挺丟臉的事......

我跟你說，我先試一位同事，如果她看完沒發現那些錯誤，
那就沒關係。
畢竟，這本書裡的內容是真的好的，尤其那幾篇真誠動人的文章，
像nomofan、COCA、CoCo、豆豆那幾篇，
能有這些人曾在你的網站駐足，別人就算用一頭秀髮也換不到這種福氣！

啊如果，連我同事也看出來不對勁，
那你最好去問一下看這第一版總共印了幾本，
然後找Lee照上次搬書的模式分派一下，一個人買二十本，把它買光光。

這樣有三個好處：
第一是毀屍滅跡。
第二讓出版社和書商對書的銷路另眼相看。
第三是那我們再版的時候就可以把錯誤通通修正了。

我一直在想：老師暑假閒幌兩個月還是有薪水領，
那些錢要不要拿出來做些有意義的事？

大家的支持很重要。

我參與的那篇"Michael的故事", 可是弄到我自己都看不懂。
寄書送給朋友的時候, 我附上一張便條:
"初版有許多誤植之處, 值得像變體郵票一樣珍藏."

我也寄了一本, 給那位"沿街倒狗尿的人".
