Regretfully, we'd like to let you know that a lot of live animals are
being traded without any regulation or control at Yahoo! Taiwan auction
site.

Even though Yahoo! Taiwan, after receiving much protests,
will have new rules effective on 24 July, which will adhere
to Taiwan's law and require animal sellers to submit breeding
license for their animal auctions, it is still a far cry from
the strict banning on any live animal trades at the Yahoo! Auction US
site or most of other Yahoo auction sites in the world. This is against
the award Yahoo got from Critter Haven as "animal free zone".

We hope that you can help pushing Yahoo! apply their goodwill for animal welfare
to Taiwan equally and ask them to put a strict ban on on-line
live animal trades. We shall be so very grateful for what you will do
for the welfare of animals in Taiwan.
