Hi Vicky, I don't know if Juby ever rode on his last owner's scooter or not. He really enjoys while I give him a ride, both on the scooter and in the car. Because he knows I'll take him to a new place away from our neighborhood. He'll keeps awake and energentic for many hours when riding although he falls in sleep so fast and so easily at home. I drive him to the mountains or somewhere has trees and grass far away from home every other weekend to make his life not too terrible although he is in Taiwan. The vets said PEMPHIGUS(天孢瘡) infected Juby and caused the blindness. They never saw a dog can recover after he goes blind. Juby does not like to go out when he can't see, which leads his situation going worse and worse. While I'm with him, he loves to take walk with me whatever he can see or not. The happiness and the much exercise heals his illness. This is the only explanation how this could happen. All the enviornment and the food are exactly the same when I'm in Taiwan or not. Last summer, I went to Scotland for 10 days and he went blind again. He recovered after I came back for several days. I kept calling his name while he couldn't see and let him know I'm by his side so he could feel free and comfortable to do anything although he lost his vision. I'll go to Korea for a business trip in the coming week. Really he can still be healthy while I'm back. Nice to talk to you and you have a nice weekend. All the best, |
